Owning Our Own Private Villa in Mykonos Greece

September 16th, 2017

My wife and I talked about a retirement home in the south. We both had the mindset from our youth to work hard early to retire young. Whereas some people who get a decent financial gain in life want to keep on making more and more, our goal was to stop working to generate income and just do the things we wanted and liked to do. One of those things was visiting Greece. We had been there before a few times. We decided to look at Mykonos villas to purchase to own. We had rented a couple in the past, and now we wanted our own Grecian getaway that would probably become a semi-permanent home.

We enjoyed the climate. It never got too hot, and it never gets too cold. In Mykonos it is around 48 degrees Fahrenheit in January with it being about the mid 80s in July. I can live with that kind of climate year round. Here, if you go far south, it gets blisteringly hot and humid in the summer, and the north is frigid in the winter. Mykonos is a bit more temperate and to our liking. The Mykonos villas we were looking at are newer places. Read the rest of this entry »

Got a Great Deal on an Apartment

September 11th, 2017

When I started out searching for a new place to live, the idea was not to look for luxury apartments in Colton CA since that was not really in the price range that I was thinking about and there is simply no way that I could afford a place like this if I was carrying all of the weight on my own. However I just happened to run into this guy that I had known in high school. He was in a pretty big hurry until I told him that I had been looking at apartments. Then he smiled and asked me if I wanted to move in with him and this other guy. I did not really commit, but asked him where it was and if the other guy was easy to get along with. He laughed and told me that it was hard not to get along with him, since his job had him flying all over the country and he was only at home about a quarter of the time. Just Got My First Job After College

October 22nd, 2014

I am working for the university here, the U of Louisiana Lafayette or the Ragin Cajuns as their sports teams are called. I was on Facebook talking to one of my friends from LSU and he told me about this job. He had seen it on a message board or something and sought me out to show me the listing. I drove down here last week and put on the suit my Dad bought me for a graduation gift. They hired me right off and asked me if I could start tomorrow. I was looking for apartments in lafayette la when I got out the door of that place. I figured that it would be easy to find a place that was really convenient to the campus, but of course the places that the students could afford were pretty much filled up already. On the Road for the Music

October 22nd, 2014

Finding a new apartment is a pretty easy task if you know what to look for. I’ve been doing it for a big chunk of my life since I’m always on the road with the band – we like to go from town to town and stay for a few months in each one in hopes that we can garner some kind of following in the area. From the towns we stay in, we are able to tour within the general area without having to go very far each time. I found apartments in tampa fl to be some of the cheapest that we have been looking at lately. Read the rest of this entry »

Great Apartments in Holland Area

September 11th, 2014

I am moving to Michigan in the near future, and I want to get an apartment that is located in Holland, or somewhere nearby to there, because I really like the beach, and it seems to be a nice little city on the shore of Lake Michigan. I really like to enjoy summer recreation on the beach, and I do own a boat. As such, it seems, all and all, to be a pretty good place for me to live. I am hoping to find apartments for rent in holland mi as I am not sure how long I will be staying in this area, and it might be, that I will just stay here for a year or so, before moving to somewhere else in the state.

My future is kind of wide open, with regards to how long I stay, and where I am going to be staying. Read the rest of this entry »

Quality Apartments: Flexible and Affordable

January 20th, 2014

Anyone who has spent any time dealing with the market for apartments knows that it can be extremely daunting and time consuming. Every potential customer has their own set of desires and demands, while every option for renting boasts its own set of features and details. The trick is trying to find where these two match up and making it work from there, but this can be much harder than expected. Well, fortune seems to favor anyone interested in the Amarillo, TX area because the tree point apartments complex delivers practically everything that anyone could ever really want.

The best part of this complex is that it offers a lot of flexibility for different types of customers in one convenient location. A family could look at larger properties with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, while the single bachelor can look for a single large bedroom or studio. Read the rest of this entry »

Quick Lease Option Saved Me

March 13th, 2017

I was in dire need of Henderson apartments after seeing a spot of black mold on the wall in our basement. At first we thought it might just be a random occurrence and that hopefully we caught it early, but such was not to be. After having the house inspected we learned that our home is infested with this stuff. It is going to take, at a minimum, two months to tear out walls and do a thorough cleaning to get rid of it. And it’s important to get rid of it because inhaling this stuff can sicken or kill you.

Thankfully, insurance is covering the clean up. In the meantime, we desperately needed to find a place to live for the next two to three months. Moving in with friends would be an imposition, so we decided to look for an apartment. It needed to be nice in a nice area and, most importantly, it needed to have a flexible lease policy. Getting an Accurate Property Appraisal is Easy if You Use a Reputable Appraisal Company

August 21st, 2015

I was thinking of selling an empty lot my dad owned. I have been paying the minimal taxes on it for years now. I mow the grass and keep it clear of clutter. I got an offer to buy it from a local resident. He said he would have it appraised. The amount it was appraised for was very low, but I had an official document from the appraiser. Well, it turns out that the appraiser is a friend of that person. Instead, I hired a reputable Sacramento appraisal service to look at the property. They were convinced that the location made it worth three times that of the other appraisal. That is a huge difference!

Depending on who you hire to do a property appraisal, you may get different amounts for value of a property. Mine was just an empty lot. Imagine people selling homes! This is why I insisted on using a reputable company to do the property appraisal. Read the rest of this entry »

I Saved Money by Making My Own Website to Share My Home Listings

March 26th, 2015

I have been working full time to sell homes in our area over the last for years. I have done well at it, but I have been feeling like I could do better in getting my name out there in front of more prospective customers for awhile now. I had been thinking of getting a website, but I know it can be expensive to have someone create one for me. Fellow agents said I should look into real estate website templates so that I can just make one myself. I realized that I wanted to take my time to think about it after talking to some pros who might be able to help me first.

I decided to call a couple of different people in the area who make websites. After explaining what type of website I would be interested in, they both gave me price quotes. I was surprised to learn that it can cost thousands of dollars to have a site created for you. This was simply not something I was prepared to do at the moment. While I was doing relatively well selling houses, I am a single mom and money is very tight.

Thinking about the advice I had received from my fellow agents about making my own website, I jumped online and looked for the templates they had told me about. I am not very technically savvy, and really hoped making my own site would not be hard. I was pleased to learn that for about $20 monthly, I can get a site hosted and I can do the work myself. I don’t need to do anything more than type my information into a template, upload a photo of myself and then upload everything. It only took me about 45 minutes to do, and I saved a lot of money doing it.

Always Take Pride in Your Work

March 19th, 2015

One of the great things about some apartments in Lowell, MA is that they allow you to sign a lease that’s really flexible. This recent lease that I’ve signed is going to allow me to do some kitchen remodeling and in turn they’re going to give me a three month break on my rent! That’s kind of great, especially if I decide to stay here for a while! At the point when given the opportunity to redesign a territory of one’s home, the kitchen is generally the first that is picked on the grounds that it is the place a ton of the family spends truly a couple of hours of their day. The majority of their suppers are here, homework is carried out at the kitchen table, the arrangements for dinners are carried out here, and gatherings are held here with different individuals from children to going in-laws.

Beside the living or lounge area, this spot is the most utilized room as a part of the house. Read the rest of this entry »

New Management Job and New Corporate Apartment in Huntsville AL

January 9th, 2015

Hey, I guess I’m an executive now. A corporate executive if you will. I have a title and everything. However, I am not making a fortune. I still need to be frugal in the choice of where to live. When I got my job in Alabama I needed to find corporate apartments in Huntsville AL that were affordable to me on my entry-level management salary. Yes, I have a business card that has a fancy title on it. My job is actually kind of important too. My mom is impressed by it. However, it does not come with a lot of perks. I need to move up about two more levels to enjoy that.

The nice thing is that the corporate apartments in Huntsville AL do come with a lot of perks, and the place is still very affordable on my salary. I got a really nice apartment that has a nice fitness center, a large resort-style pool. Read the rest of this entry »

Best Prices for Selling Houses

January 7th, 2015

I am going to need to sell the house my wife and I have been living in for the past few years, and I want to get the most money possible for it. That has been my main concern all along, but I have yet to find a good offer. Then I found this site:http://www.wepaythemost.co.uk.

I need to get the most money possible for the house, because we are in a bit of debt right now, and that is the main reason that we are going to have to sell the house in the first place. I try not to worry about it., but it is kind of hard not to worry in a position like this. I guess all I can do is to try to keep moving forward and hope for the best. That is what I have always done in the past. Read the rest of this entry »

Fun Times in the Apartment

December 5th, 2014

My friends told me that the apartments in Portland OR have never been cheaper than they are now. They told me this because they wanted to move into an apartment together and wanted me to join them. I had been living with my parents for 2 years because the prices for apartments were too high for me and I didn’t want to get a home. I checked out the apartment prices with my friends and we found a really good price on an apartment.

I packed up all my things into a moving truck and had it sent to the new apartment. My parents had mixed emotions about me leaving. Read the rest of this entry »

Cheap Real Estate in Wyoming

October 22nd, 2014

I have always wanted to own a lot of property, but unfortunately, the prices for land in my home state are too high. So I have been looking for alternative places to live. I am currently looking into pricing for Cody Wyoming real estate and I think it might be a good place for me to buy some property, and to build a house. I know that the land prices in Wyoming are much cheaper than where I am from, and that should provide me with the opportunity to buy the amount of land that I would like to have.

I am going to want to purchase at least 40 acres. I am an avid equestrian, but at my current house, I do not have nearly enough land for a horse. I would like to teach my children how to ride, and to do so, I am going to need land and a few horses. I own my own business, and it is not based on any physical assets, so it does not really matter where I live. Read the rest of this entry »

Distancing Myself from Love and Property

September 17th, 2014

As I sit here and look over the real estate magazine for one of the several homes for sale in Tampa Florida, I find myself questioning my readiness to purchase a home. I’m not afraid to admit that the idea of debt is the primary reason that I wouldn’t. The second reason? Being single. There is not a doubt in my mind that I’ll be single for years to come, if not for the rest of my life. I have things to do, and perhaps unfortunately, the idea of being involved with someone currently is only going to distract me from reaching those goals. Read the rest of this entry »
