WHAT WE ARE
The NRBA is a non-partisan, non-sectarian voice for businesses on legislative,
social, governmental and community issues affecting all of North Rockland. With
the help of all members, we are taking steps to identify and overcome obstacles
that are detrimental to the local business climate and community growth.
WHAT WE’LL DO
• support retail establishments, restaurants, services and cultural institutions
in North Rockland by collectively and actively promoting our area
• provide networking opportunities
• serve as an information resource center for local businesses and non-profits
• act as a liaison between the government and the taxpayers
• seek out volume discounts that are available to members of large groups, such
as insurance programs and advertising cooperatives
ACTIVITIES
In addition to our monthly meetings featuring guest speakers, upcoming
activities include additional community forums, business seminars, a North
Rockland Expo and Job Fair, and a fundraising cookbook featuring recipes
submitted by our members and promoting all of North Rockland.
